Hydroguy Archives is an online resource for indoor gardeners and a repository for Hydroguy’s musings, most of which are works in progress.
The foundations of the Archives have been a lengthy work in progress, from the Never Grow Back website, to a small mini-zine, a book project, web-based online course – and now finally a simplified blog-style website.
The medium of the content provided here has changed so many times, in order to find the best and most convenient way for growers like you to locate, access, and hopefully answer the questions you may have. And the most convenient means for Hydroguy to answer them. OK maybe his convenience has been the primary goal.
Hydroguy tries to provide information in the most digestible forms; he realizes most growers do not have advanced chemistry or botany courses on their belt, so he tries not to over complicate his articles – if you are looking for the most technically advanced science on horticulture you will not find it here. (Probably because he doesn’t know it, but why not settle with you wouldn’t understand it if he told you)
If Hydroguy does not provide the answers you need in an article, or if you would like him to provide an article on a specific subject, feel free to contact him. That is, if he manages to get a contact page up.
The straight scoop
Hydroguy is not endorsed by any products or companies, and all reviews on products are brutally honest. Articles containing product testing are not paid ads, unless a box of nutrients can be considered just compensation for months of having to fertilize test subjects individually, photo and record data, et al. Hydroguy doesn’t do it to provide free feedback to nutrient companies or aid the teeming millions to grow, it is entirely for the pursuit of knowledge and self-education.
This site does not generate crap for revenue, my time is entirely pissed away to provide this information, so if you disagree with any articles feel free to express your distaste in the comments section, but do not be surprised if I don’t show a hint of interest to argue. Any valid clarification is always welcome, that’s why the comments section is there – not the “great post %site% – buy Viagra” bots that tend to litter it.
